Ordering From Aerial Shack: Browse through our catalogue and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. When you have made your selection, click on “checkout”, you will then be asked to provide details so that we can process the order. Payment: We accept payment by Cash, PayPal, Google Checkout and safe online payments with your credit or debit card through Sage Pay. ZONE 1&2 UK MAINLAND, ZONE 3 OUTSIDE UK MAINLAND ZONES, ZONE 4 EUROPE. The map above is a guide only-certain postcodes may still be 'out of zone'. Europe delivery charges are set to cover large items such as most satellite dishes. If you are in Europe and wish to purchase smaller items, such as LNB's, then please phone and we will charge a more reasonable P&P charge. *Items in stock, ordered before 2pm, will be dispatched on the day of purchase. Most UK mainland deliveries are sent by 24 hour postage/courier (zone 1 & 2) so should be recieved the next working day (not Saturday or Sunday). Please note this is not guaranteed and is reliant on couriers/Royal Mail. We cannot guarantee or be held responsible if an order fails to arrive on time as we are reliant on third parties. We will however refund any extra charges that have been made for Special delivery but will not be liable for any compensation beyond this. European deliveries are often by road and may take 5 - 12 working days. If you are out for delivery our couriers will attempt a second delivery. If you are still out after the second attempt the goods will be returned to us and the customer shall be liable for any charges incurred. Our normal delivery charges are as follows: Rates are calculated by weight and value of products. Rate 1. Zone 1 & 2 (most products up to £20) - £2.99 Rate 2. Zone 1 & 2 (most products up to £50)- £4.99 * Orders over £50 - FREE P&P (to Zone 1 & 2) * Next Working Day Delivery if ordered before 2pm Customers in certain regions (Some areas of Scotland, Highlands and Islands) may be charged extra for the delivery of some items (even on orders over £50 which are normally free delivery). Please note our charges are normaly less than the courier charges us for delivery to these areas. Obviously these areas are as much of a part of the UK as anywhere else but most couriers do charge extra. Deliveries to Zone C & D may take 3 working days. We always do our best to avoid extra charges by using alternative delivery methods but items such as long poles/heavier/bulky items (over 2kg) have to be sent via courier. We regret that some items, such as long poles, cannot be shipped outside of mainland UK and some bulky items may not be economic for us to ship to certain areas within the UK. In this case you will be notified and a refund issued. Aerial Shack reserves the right to replace any of the above services, without notice, for a similar or enhanced service, where we deem it to be more appropriate. If you are out for a delivery the courier will attempt to leave your items with a neighbour. Please do not reject goods because of box damage as the goods inside may well be undamaged (and usually are). If the packaging is damaged then mark 'packaging damaged' next to your signature. If after inspection you find the goods are damaged contact us and we will arrange to swap them over. We will not compensate if you reject goods for box damage and on arrival back to us we find them to be in undamaged condition. You will be required to pay the return postage. Packaging: At Aerial Shack, we want you to receive your purchase in the same great condition it left us. We use only good quality materials for packaging and wherever possible we recycle packaging material. We too buy online and can assure you no one takes better care of your purchases. Returns/Refunds: If you are not happy with your purchase and wish to return it, please notify us by letter or email within 7 working days after receipt of your item. You will be given a returns number. Please mark the outside of the returning item with this number. Goods returned without a returns number will be ignored. Returned items (that are not faulty or damaged in transit) must be in unused 'as new' condition. We shall not be liable for postage costs on unwanted (non-faulty returns). If non-faulty returns are not in as-new condition they will be returned back to the customers after the customer has paid for the return postage cost. Return it to us at the address on the website by a recorded means (not special delivery-expensive!). We will refund all postage costs if an item arrives damaged due to our negligence, faulty or we have sent the wrong item. We will not refund any postage costs for any other circumstances. Items lost or damaged in the post are insured, we will refund/replace and we will claim from the relevant postal services should this be necessary. We will not accept an item is lost in the post untill 10 working days have elapsed from the day after postage (UK only) (please note Royal Mail say 15 working days). Incorrectly addressed or insufficiently addressed items (where the customer has entered the delivery address) that go missing in the post, or are returned to us, will not be compensated for. Where free delivery is given, returns may incurr a delivery charge (this includes the return of part of an order-where we have to test the items) and this will be deducted from any refund. Please note certain items such as cut lengths of cable, extension leads, some Status spares and specially ordered items are not returnable unless faulty. Please do not throw electrical equipment (including those items marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol) in your bin. This is because: - Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment.
- If we do not recycle electrical items they will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination – harming wildlife and also human health.
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK, distributors including retailers must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. As a responsible retailer, we have met the requirements placed on us by offering all customers buying new electrical equipment free take-back of their old electricals on a like-for-like basis in our stores. Unwanted items should be returned within 28 days of purchasing your new product.
