This mast coupler joins a 1½ inch (1.5") mast to a 1¼ inch (1.25") mast. Four 8mm set screws grip the masts. A 8mm bar prevents the masts or coupler sliding and also provides an anchor for guy wires. It is recommended that all coupled masts be secured using guy wires and associated equipment. This coupler is manufactured from hot dipped galvanised tube but then painted with acrylic aluminium paint.
